Sometimes when I am walking around talking on my cell phone I pretend I'm Jack Bauer. Jealous?

Oso

My sweet boy has been having a hard time lately. He was found last Saturday with a broken leg. He has had surgery twice. Resulting in him have 14 screws in his poor little leg. I found out tonight there might be a second break. There is a chance we'll have to put him down. The doctor put him in a splint until Thursday. So we shall see. Please pray for my sweet boy.

Can I return this to you...

So today I had to run some errands for work... this entailed returning some office supplies. I walked into the store to find a girl in dreads with cool necklaces. With my goofy smile on my face I asked, "Can I return this stuff to you?" She looked at me like I was retarded then spoke, "Yeah, except that looks like that stuff goes back to Office Depot." Aaakward! So I laughed and scampered out of the store. Just so you all don't think I'm completely ridiculous let me add that Office Max is like two doors down from Office Depot here in Orem. If that wasn't a good enough laugh for you today let me tell you the other part of my morning. This morning I woke up and went to go to work only to find my car was missing. I had forgotten that I left it at work last night because I didn't feel like driving. I called my boss, who lives in the complex next to me, and asked him when he was going to work. He answered, "In about 8 minutes, why did you forget your car at work?" HOW DID HE KNOW?! Goodness... does anyone know who my mom is?

Oookay my nephew is pretty much the coolest kid around.

Secondly, I joined the t-mobile blackberry nation... too bad you wouldn't know it because I can't figure the dang thing out.

Third, I joined the geek team over at Simply Mac, I am the only girl and the bathroom doesn't have a door.

Oh Davey...

So I couldn't get into Henry David Thoreau when introduced to him in high school. I liked Emerson just fine as well as many other classic writers, but something about Davey just didn't click. The other day I told a friend that I had been reading a book and that I was really digging it. Jokingly she asked if it was Persuassion (I had given her this book a while back to read, she mocked it). I laughed and told her no and then asked her if she had ever finished the book. Now if you are familiar with me and those I associate with often, you understand our attention span is well... non-existent. She explained that she was reading it but then came across a book by Thoreau and fell in love with it. After I told her that I disliked Davey she convinced me to pick up this particular book and my views would be swayed.
I am now half way through "A Week on Concord and Merrimack Rivers" and I only one thing to say. Swayed.

please stay tuned for updates on what Davey has taught me. Thank you.
